Reliability

The Superbug range of battery powered golf trolleys feature a unique driving system. An advanced brushless hub motor that has no gearbox ,nor brushes that traditionally can wear out. Using a brushless motor rather than a one with brushes and a gearless drive rather than a gearbox drive is more costlybut it is worthwhile to ensure years of hassle free golfing. The frame built from 6061 Aluminium alloy is both light and strong. All major screws are stainless steel and the plastic handles have brass inserts to provide extra strength.

Stability

The Superbug trolley features a 59cm wide track to give it sideways stability. In addition the unique position of the drive wheel gives it considerable rear stability. Most of the weight is at ground level at the rear wheel making it extremely difficult for the Superbug to tip over backwards when going up a steep hill.

Effortless Manouverability

The Superbug features on and off switches for both left and right handed players. The speed control is separate from the on/off so the speed can remain at your desired level. the unique rear wheel also pivots or turns .To steer you only need to move the handle left and right. In very tight spaces or where you want to turn on the spot then simply lift the handle and pivot the Superbug on its front wheels( as opposed to traditional trolleys where you push down on the 2 rear wheels to turn the front.) The Superbug features a unique safety start up system that prevents the trolley from starting up until 1Km is reached. This allows for a smooth start rather than the cart suddenly taking off.

Compact - Manageable - Transportable

The unique design that includes the motor inside the drive wheel results in a large space saving. Free fro the need to design the frame around a bulky motor the trolley is sleek and compact. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium , an advanced metal alloy known for its lightness, strength and durability. the wheels can be removed to enable the trolley to be fitted into the smallest of spaces .The Superbug D200 weighs only 7.8 Kgs without the wheels and batteries. The Superbug D200 folded with the wheels on measures 28x78x59 cms.

D200 Hub Motor 200 Watt

The Superbug D200 uses a very advanced 200 Watt Hub motor that is enclosed within the drive wheel. It has no brushes or gearbox that can break or wear out and is extremely durable and reliable.

Battery Power - 36 Holes

the Superbug features 2 powerful batteries of 12 Volts and 12 AmpH each with a total of 288WH of power. The advanced 3 stage switching charger maintains the battery at optimum charge whilst not in use. The Superbug is capable of travelling from 18 holes up to 36 holes depending on certain conditions such as terrain of the course, the bag weight etc.

Traction

The All Terrain tread profile provides additional traction. Should the wheel slip a little pressure downward on the handle will provide additional grip.

Cruise Control

The D200 has full electronic braking . The Dynamic braking helps keep the Superbug at your desired speed even on down hill slopes. On steeper slopes engage the brake button and the Superbug will slow to its slowest speed or just touch the button and the wheels will lock until released.
