Golf Trolley Warranty

A 12 month warranty is provided for all other parts of the golf trolley (including battery and charger) against faulty materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.

Should a problem arise with the golf trolley, the customer is required to return the golf trolley at their expense to Mobile Golf Equipment or their authorised agent for examination within the warranty period.

Mobile Golf Equipment will at its discretion, repair or replace any defective golf trolley, battery or charger returned to them or their authorised agent, subject to the following:

Mobile Golf Equipment will not accept liability for any damage or failure of the warranted item due to misuse, accident, neglect, fair wear and tear or damage caused by attempted repair by other than the company's authorised representatives.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty specifically excludes claims for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Battery Warranty

The battery is warranted for one year from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers faulty material or workmanship subject to the following:

The warranty is void:

If the battery is damaged due to physical abuse,
Proper recharging of the battery has not been maintained allowing the battery to over discharge due to excessive use.
The battery is charged by the a battery charger other than the one provided.
The battery has been allowed to remain in a discharged state for prolonged periods.

If the customer considers the battery is faulty within the warranty period it is to be returned to Mobile Golf Equipment or its authorised representatives for testing.

If after testing the battery is determined to be defective under the terms set down by the manufacture it will be replaced.

If after testing the battery proves to be within the manufacturer's specification and not replaceable under warranty the battery will be returned at the customers expense.

Battery Charger Warranty

The battery charger is warranted for one year from the date of purchase. The warranty is void if the charger or the battery connections are damaged due to physical abuse, neglect or the charger is allowed to overheat due to inadequate ventilation during charging.

Golf Carts Warranty

It is provided to the original owners of the golf cart for a period of 12 months from date of purchase from the retailer Option is available to purchase a 36 month warranty period

Warranty covers the golf cart, batteries and battery charger.

Repair work during warranty period

Warranty work undertaken (including parts and labour) will be carried out at no cost to the golf cart owner. The owner is responsible for getting the golf cart to an authorised repairer. Warranty excludes any servicing work for the golf cart for which a charge is payable.

Warranty Exclusions
Damages

This warranty does not include the following damage:

Damage caused by an accident, misuse, neglect, fire, theft or impact with stationary or moveable objects.
Damage caused by batteries overheating due to inadequate ventilation during charging.
Damage caused by flood, hail, or acts of god.
Damages caused by chemicals or sealants.
Indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

Misuse

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Misuse or abuse of the Golf Cart.
Operation of the golf cart after the defect is known.
Failure to carry out proper maintenance services (refer to owners manual).
Alteration of the Golf Cart by any person not authorised by MGE.
Fitting of parts or accessories not recommended by MGE.
Any work carried out on the Golf Cart by anyone except an authorised MGE retailer or service centre.

Fair wear and tear

Items such as wheels, tyres, operating controls and seats which are subject to wear and tear will only be covered taking account for fair wear and tear.
